027 705 5823 Jonathan Newby was the Hawke’s Bay Young Fruitgrower of the Year and New Zealand Young Grower of the Year in 2010. Later in that same year, he joined Farmlands in Te Puna and after time learning the business there, joined the Skeltons technical advisory team, initially partnering fellow technical advisor, Andrew McIntosh. Raised on a pipfruit orchard, Jonathan holds an Advanced Diploma in horticulture and pipfruit production from Eastern Institute of Technology and was previously part of the management team of a 50 hectare apple and blueberry orchard in Hawke’s Bay. |
