John is an “older but not over the hill horticulturist”, with over 30 years of industry experience including practical growing, research and scientific aspects of growing, sales, consultancy and distribution, and training.  He holds a Diploma in Horticulture (Orchard Management) and qualifications in Growsafe®, IPM techniques, viticulture, AvoGreen®, Dangerous Goods, and is an Approved Handler.  

John is based from the Waipapa store and provides crop production advice to growers throughout Northland.
